Transference Love in Schizophrenia (e-Book)

In this book the particularities of the transference in schizophrenia and the different ways of management that they demand to the clinical practice and mental health care are analyzed. Mainly, we focus on the ironic defensive type. Through the analysis of the irony of transference, the following phenomenons are detected and characterized in the analytic treatment of schizophrenia: the paradox defense; the terms and the characteristics of the subjective division; different types of transference actualizations; the dramatic game and the scenic display in transference; the treatment “for love” to the embodied presence of the object; the problem called “death love”; the analytic symptom.
